FIBA Awards are basketball awards that are given at the end of each FIBA tournament, or that are given in recognition of an individual's contributions to the sport. There are several awards that are attributed to the players, which have distinguished themselves from the rest, in different aspects of the game. FIBA tournament awards The FIBA tournament awards are awarded at the FIBA World Cup and the FIBA Women's World Cup, as well as at each of the FIBA continental cups, at both the senior and youth levels. *The Most Valuable Player (the most valuable player within the tournament). *The All-Tournament Team (five players who distinguished themselves within the tournament, also commonly referred to as the ''All-Star Five''). Elizabeth Folake Cambage (born 18 August 1991) is an Australian professional basketball player who last played for the Los Angeles Sparks of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Cambage currently holds the WNBA single-game scoring record with her 53-point performance against the New York Liberty on 17 July 2018. Napheesa Collier (born September 23, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for the Minnesota Lynx of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). After playing college basketball for the UConn Huskies women's basketball, University of Connecticut Huskies, Collier was drafted by the Lynx with the 6th overall pick in the 2019 WNBA draft. Astou Ndour-Fall ( Ndour; born August 22, 1994) is a Spanish professional basketball player for the Chicago Sky of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and for Çukurova Basketbol of the Turkish Women's Basketball League.
