FFRR Records
FFRR Records (sometimes credited as Full Frequency Range Recordings) is a dance music label previously run and founded by English DJ Pete Tong. Originally the dance music label of London Records, FFRR is currently a sublabel of Parlophone, a division of Warner Music Group. The label name references the recording technique (full frequency range recording) developed by Sir Edward Lewis's Decca Records. The original incarnation of FFRR was founded in 1986, and also had two subsidiaries: Double F Double R Records and Ffrreedom Records. The label's ear logo was copied from the original FFRR logo source, as found at the top of the London Records logo. The label name was stylized as ffrr, rather than FFRR. FFRR's parent company London was run by Roger Ames as his own 'semi-autonomous indie' from within the major label group PolyGram, so when Ames joined Warner Music as Chair and CEO, London/FFRR went with him. Decca Records is a British record label established in 1929 by Edward Lewis (Decca), Edward Lewis. Its U.S. label was established in late 1934 by Lewis, Jack Kapp, American Decca's first president, and Milton Rackmil, who later became American Decca's president. The Carburetors
The Carburetors is a Norwegian hard rock band from Oslo, formed in 2001. Their music is based on boogie rock and roll and heavy metal and has been described as a mix of Chuck Berry and Motörhead. Brother Brown
Brother Brown (founded 1995 and disbanded in 2004) was a Danish house music duo, consisting of Atle Rønne Thorberg and Henrik Olsen. In the later half of the 1990s and beginning of the 2000s, Brother Brown made numerous remixes, most significantly of Madonna and of the Pet Shop Boys. Three of their remixes reached No. 1 on the ''Billboard'' Dance Chart: Madonna's "Die Another Day", Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" and Cher's version of "When the Money's Gone". The Brand New Heavies is an acid jazz and funk group formed in 1985 in Ealing in west London. Centered around songwriters/multi-instrumentalists Simon Bartholomew and Andrew Levy, the core members of the group since its founding, Brand New Heavies are best known for a string of successful singles in the early 1990s featuring N'Dea Davenport as lead vocalist. Berri (born Rebecca Sleight, 1974, York) is an English singer, best known for her 1995 hit single, " The Sunshine After the Rain", which was originally recorded by Ellie Greenwich in 1968 and later was a hit for Elkie Brooks, reaching number 10 in 1977. "The Sunshine After the Rain" was released twice, peaking at number 26 in the UK Singles Chart in December 1994, and, after a re-release, at number four in September 1995. For the first release, the credits were to New Atlantic/U4EA featuring Berri. Artful Dodger are a UK garage duo, originally based in the city Southampton, which became famous for its 2-step hits and inaugurated Craig David's professional musical career with his appearance on their 1999 number-two hit " Re-Rewind". All Seeing I
The All Seeing I were a British electronic music group from Sheffield, England, comprising Dean Honer, Jason Buckle and DJ Parrot (real name Richard Barratt). Biography The band released their first single "I Walk" in 1997, but it was not until the year after that they gained mainstream commercial success with the song " Beat Goes On", a remixed cover of the Sonny Bono song, using the vocals from Buddy Rich's version, which were sung by his daughter Cathy.
