Futebol Clube Bravos do Maquis, formerly Futebol Clube Onze Bravos and usually known simply as Bravos do Maquis, is an Angolan football club based in Luena, in the eastern province of Moxico. It is owned by Futebol Clube Bravos do Maquis and holds 4,300 people. History The Stadium was named after Jones Cufune Mundunduleno, a MPLA commander and guerrilla fighter from eastern Angola. Location Mundunduleno is located at the Mandembwe neighborhood, around 2 km from the city of Luena, in an area surrounded by eucalyptus trees. In 2013, the Stadium underwent a major renovation which forced the home team to play its home games at the neighboring Estádio das Mangueiras in the province of Lunda Sul. 2015 Girabola
The 2015 Girabola was the 37th season of top-tier football in Angola. The season ran from 11 February to 10 October 2015. Recreativo do Libolo survived a late-season scare from 1º de Agosto to win their fourth Angolan championship, all in the past five years. Recreativo do Libolo needed a scoreless draw against Académica do Lobito in their final game to finish in a tie atop the standings with 1º de Agosto, who closed the season with six straight wins. Recreativo do Libolo won the tiebreaker based on head-to-head points. The league comprised 16 of teams and the bottom three were relegated to the 2016 Segundona. Domant, Onze Bravos and Sporting de Cabinda finished in the last three spots and were relegated. The 2009 Taça de Angola was the 28th edition of the Taça de Angola, the second most important and the top knock-out football club competition in Angola, following the Girabola. Primeiro de Agosto beat Sagrada Esperança 2–1 in the final, to secure its 3rd title. The winner and the runner-up qualified to the CAF Confederation Cup. Sagrada who were supposed to participate as the runner-up, later declined to participate citing financial reasons, being replaced by Académica do Soyo.
