A Formula One Grand Prix is a sporting event which takes place over three days (usually Friday to Sunday), with a series of practice and qualifying sessions prior to the race on Sunday. Current regulations provide for two free practice sessions on Friday, a morning practice session and an afternoon qualifying session held on Saturday, and the race held on Sunday afternoon or evening, though the structure of the weekend has changed numerous times over the history of the sport. Historically, the Monaco Grand Prix held practice on Thursday rather than Friday, and the whole schedule for the Las Vegas Grand Prix is brought forward by one day. is a series of Formula One video games developed and published by Video System, primarily known for developing the ''Aero Fighters'' series. Prior to obtaining the FOCA license, the company previously released an arcade game in 1989 (based on the season) called '' Tail to Nose: Great Championship'' (known in Japan as ''Super Formula: Chijō Saisoku no Battle''). Video System began releasing officially licensed titles in 1991 as an arcade game and for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, initially featuring content from the season; the company later followed up by releasing games based on the and seasons, although the 1993 season game had no arcade release. ''Formula One Grand Prix'' (known as ''World Circuit'' in the United States) is a racing simulator released in 1991 by MicroProse for the Amiga, Atari ST and PC created by game designer Geoff Crammond. It is often referred to as ''Grand Prix 1'', ''MicroProse Grand Prix'', or just ''F1GP''. Although the game itself was not affiliated officially with the FIA or any Formula One drivers, team liveries and driver helmets were accurate to represent the 1991 season, but the names were fictional.
