Ezzahra
Ezzahra (الزهراء) is a coastal town on the outskirts of Tunis located south of the capital. Ezzahra is bounded by the Mediterranean Sea and the municipalities of Rades, Hammam Lif and Boumhel EL-Bassatine. Administratively attached to the governorate of Ben Arous, it is the seat of a delegation and a municipality of 31,792 inhabitants (in 2014) while the city itself has a population of 6000 inhabitants. Other cities there are agglomerated (cité El Habib, 18 January and Borj El-Louzir). The municipality was founded September 10, 1909, during the colonial period, under the name of Saint-Germain and was subsequently referred Ezzahra after the independence of Tunisia in honor of national fighter Lazhar Chraïti (1919-1963). Ezzahra organizes a theater festival each summer. Ezzahra Sports
Ezzahra Sports ( ar, الزهراء الرياضية), or EZS, is a Tunisian professional basketball club from Ezzahra. The club competes in the Championnat National A, the domestic first tier. Home games are played in the Ezzahra Arena. History Ezzahra has won the Tunisian League championship 6 times, in the years 1982, 1983, 1993, 1994, 1997, and 1999. Tunisia is divided into 24 governorate, governorates (''wilayat'', sing. ''wilayah''). Myrath
Myrath ( ar, ميراث ''mīrāth'', "Legacy") is a Tunisian progressive metal band formed in 2001 by guitarist Malek Ben Arbia and currently based in Tunisia. The band has been noted for its mix of Arabic and Middle Eastern instrumentation with power metal and progressive rock and is considered an important band in oriental metal. They call their own sound "blazing desert metal". They are the first band from Tunisia to be signed to a record label outside the country. Career Early history Guitarist Malek Ben Arbia, then age 13, formed the band, first named X-Tazy, in 2001 with some childhood friends.
