Eyeball Skeleton is an American indie rock band from Washington, D.C. The group has attracted attention for its pre-teen membership. History Eyeball Skeleton is composed of Bill Brown (guitar, percussion, programming) and his sons Charlie Brown (guitar) and J.J. Brown (bass), ages 10 and 8 as of 2005.Hot Spot '''', May 17, 2005. The French Kicks
French Kicks are an American indie rock group from New York City, United States. Their sound is a mix of garage rock, post-punk, and modded pop. History Three of the original four band members, bassist Jamie Krents, vocalist/drummer Nick Stumpf, and vocalist/guitarist Matthew Stinchcomb (currently Etsy's European Director), are from Washington, D.C. They were heavily influenced by the hardcore scene that flourished during their youth in the D.C. area. They began playing together in a series of bands while in their teens and then all attended Oberlin College in Ohio, where they continued to play together. Drums & Tuba was an instrumental rock group. The band formed in Austin, Texas, before relocating to New York City. Their sound fuses electronic rock, progressive rock, jazz and occasionally industrial. They were signed to Righteous Babe Records. History The group began as a duo with Brian Wolff and Tony Nozero performing weekend nights for tips on Sixth Street in downtown Austin.
