Eyal Golan
Eyal Golan ( he, אייל גולן; born Eyal Bitton; 12 April 1971) is an Israeli singer who sings in the Mizrahi music pop fusion genre, and considered one of the most successful singers in Israel. Golan reported the highest income of all singers in Israel in 2011. Early life Eyal Bitton was born in Rehovot, Israel, to a family of both Sephardic Jewish ( Moroccan-Jewish) and Mizrahi Jewish ( Yemenite-Jewish) descent. His parents are Daniel "Dani" Bitton and Ronit (nee Jamil) and grew up in the neighborhood of Kfar Marmorek in his hometown. When he was 4 his parents divorced and he resided with his mother's family. Music career Golan started performing in nightclubs at the age of 20. His first album, ''Lehisha ba'Laila'' (in Hebrew לחישה בלילה meaning Whisper in the Night) was released in 1995. Rehovot ( he, רְחוֹבוֹת ''Rəḥōvōt'', ar, رحوڤوت ''Reḥūfūt'') is a city in the Central District of Israel, about south of Tel Aviv. In it had a population of . Channel 24 ( he, ערוץ 24), formally known as Music 24 ( he, מוזיקה 24), is an Israeli free-to-air television channel owned by Telad, which was launched on July 20, 2003 and broadcasts music videos by Israeli musicians. Apart from music videos, the channel has different music-related shows, including interviews with musicians, live performances, music-oriented talk shows and programs which are dedicated to a specific genre of music. The channel's editor-in-chief, Yoav Kutner, has been one of the most influential figures in the Israeli rock scene. Nava Prehi-Boker ( he, נאוה פרחי-בוקר, born 15 November 1970) is an Israeli journalist and politician. Biography Nava Boker was born and raised in Pardes Hanna-Karkur. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Yemen. A journalist by profession, Boker worked for both Yedioth Ahronoth and Ma'ariv, as well as Channel 1. She married and had two daughters, then divorced. At age 27, as a reporter, she met Hadera police chief Lior Boker, and married him. Due to difficulties with obtaining a marriage certificate from the Israeli rabbinate, she married Boker in what she described as an "alternative marriage."
