Extreme Makeover Home Edition
''Extreme Makeover: Home Edition'' (''EM:HE''; sometimes informally referred to as ''Extreme Home Makeover'') is an American reality television series that aired from February 15, 2004 to January 13, 2012 on ABC. The series is a spin-off of ''Extreme Makeover'' that features a family that has faced some sort of recent or ongoing hardship having their home completely remodeled to better suit their exact needs. The series was produced by Endemol USA in association with Disney-ABC Television Group's Greengrass Television. The original ABC run was hosted by Ty Pennington; the HGTV season was hosted by actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson. The executive producers were Brady Connell and George Verschoor. Alvin Nathaniel Joiner (born September 18, 1974), better known by his stage name Xzibit (pronounced "exhibit"), is an American rapper, actor, television presenter, and radio personality. Xzibit began his musical career after the release of his debut studio album, ''At the Speed of Life'', on October 15, 1996. The album was both critically and commercially successful, peaking at number 74 on the ''Billboard'' 200. Daniel Charles Kucan (born October 16, 1970) is an American carpenter, artist, interior designer, actor, writer, and television personality on the Emmy Award-winning TV series '' Extreme Makeover: Home Edition''. Paul DiMeo (born February 12, 1958) is an American television personality, philanthropist, building designer, and carpenter who was a regular cast member of the reality television series '' Extreme Makeover: Home Edition''. Early life and education Paul DiMeo was born and raised in Media, Pennsylvania. He is the youngest of five children, and at 5 years old his house burned down.
