''Expeditie Robinson 2021'' is the twenty-second season of the Dutch reality television series '' Expeditie Robinson''. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the season changed filming locations and filmed in Dugi Otok, Croatia. As with the previous seasons since ''2010'' (with the exception of the previous season), famous Dutch celebrities will be competing in teams to survive against each other and elimination. The main twist this season is 8 former contestants return to compete for a spot to join the 18 new contestants for a chance at redemption and to win the game. Loiza Lamers (born 9 January 1995) is a Dutch model and businesswoman best known for being the winner of the eighth cycle of ''Holland's Next Top Model'', and the world's first transgender winner of the global ''Top Model'' TV-franchise. Early life Lamers, a Gelderland native, was born in Driel in 1995. Lamers expressed her gender nonconformity early in life, beginning her gender transition early in her childhood. At the age of 10, Lamers was featured in a 2005 documentary by Charlotte Hoogakker titled ''Van Lucas naar Luus'' (From Lucas to Luus), which focused on her transition. Kris Kross Amsterdam is a Dutch DJ and record producer trio formed by brothers Jordy and Sander Huisman and Yuki Kempees. Their music is a mix of various music styles including R&B, Hip hop music, hip hop, funk, Soul music, soul, Pop music, pop and House music, house. The name is a nod to the famous rap duo Kris Kross from the early 1990s, known for their hit single "Jump (Kris Kross song), Jump". Career Kris Kross Amsterdam originated as two brothers in 2011 in Amsterdam. Expeditie Robinson 2019 is the twentieth season of the Dutch version of the Swedish television series '' Expedition Robinson''. This season is the first season since '' Expeditie Robinson 2016'' to feature celebrities only. Twenty Dutch celebrities participate to win €25,000 and win the title of Robinson 2019. This is also the first season to be hosted by former contestant Kaj Gorgels who took over co-hosting the series from Dennis Weening. The season premiered on 1 September 2019. Rob Geus (born 15 July 1971 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch cook and TV presenter. Career Geus started the TV show ' on SBS 6 in 2002 with Maureen Du Toit. In this show, Geus visits restaurants and student residences to check their kitchens for hygiene and safety. When Geus is convinced that the restaurant meets the hygiene and safety standards, he awards said restaurant with a ''Smaakpolitie OK-sticker''. If the hygiene is sub par, Geus hands over a T-shirt with his catchphrase "''Hier word ik niet vrolijk van''" his does not make me happy a one liner Geus used since the first season.
