Morning Teleportation is an American psychedelic rock band formed in 2005 when Bowling Green, Kentucky, United States, natives Travis Goodwin (keyboards), Tres Coker (drums), and Paul Wilkerson (bass) met up with Chicago transplant Tiger Merritt (vocals/guitar), who had just moved to their hometown for college. In the last few years they have played at Electric Forest Festival, Bonnaroo Music Festival, and Sasquatch! Music Festival and supported The Flaming Lips, Cage The Elephant, Primus and Modest Mouse. On April 4, 2019, the band announced through their Facebook page that Tiger Merritt had died. History In 2009, the band signed to Glacial Pace Recordings. Isaac Kristofer Brock (born July 9, 1975) is an American musician who is the lead singer, songwriter, guitarist and banjoist for the indie rock band Modest Mouse, as well as his side project band, Ugly Casanova. As a songwriter, he is noted for his wordplay and frequent use of metaphors, philosophical lyrics, themes of authentic rural lifestyles, and phrases and sayings commonly used in the early to mid-20th century and in blue collar environments. Early life Brock was born in Helena, Montana. During his childhood, he lived with his mother and sister in Montana and Oregon in hippie communes and churches before moving to Issaquah, Washington when he was 11 years old.
