Evgeny Artyukhin
Yevgeni Evgenyevich Artyukhin (russian: link=no, Евге́ний Евге́ньевич Артю́хин; born 4 April 1983) is a Russian professional ice hockey right winger who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He last played competitively for HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Playing career After spending most of the 2005–06 season with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Artyukhin left for Russia after contract negotiations soured with Tampa Bay. When the 2006–07 season ended with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, Artyukhin rejected a $475,000 contract offer from the Lightning. His agent, Mark Gandler, asked Tampa Bay to trade him, claiming the Lightning were punishing Artyukhin for not re-signing a year before. It was believed Artyukhin was seeking a $1 million contract. Hockey Club Admiral, Also Known as The Admiral Vladivostok, (russian: Хоккейный клуб Адмирал)are a professional ice hockey team based in Vladivostok, Primorsky Krai, Russia. They are members of the Chernyshev Division of the Eastern Conference of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Admiral play their home games at Fetisov Arena, which has a capacity of 7,500. The Euro Hockey Tour (EHT) is an annual ice hockey tournament open to only the national men's teams of Czechia, Finland, Switzerland and Sweden. Most of the teams use the competition as a preparation for the upcoming World Championships or Olympics, allowing less experienced players to collect valuable ice time in their national colours. Nathan Oystrick
Nathan Oystrick (born December 17, 1982) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. Oystrick has previously played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Atlanta Thrashers, Anaheim Ducks and St. Louis Blues. He was originally drafted by the Thrashers in the seventh round, 198th overall, at the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. Oystrick was named head coach of the Humboldt Broncos on July 3, 2018, but quit the position less than six months later without explanation. Matthew Norman Niskanen (born December 6, 1986) is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman. Defence or defense (in American English) in ice hockey is a player position that is primarily responsible for preventing the opposing team from scoring. They are often referred to as defencemen, D, D-men or blueliners (the latter a reference to the blue line in ice hockey which represents the boundary of the offensive zone; defencemen generally position themselves along the line to keep the puck in the zone). Dallas Stars
The Dallas Stars are a professional ice hockey team based in Dallas. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Central Division in the Western Conference, and were founded during the 1967 NHL expansion as the Minnesota North Stars, based in Bloomington, Minnesota. Drew Miller (born February 17, 1984) is an American former professional ice hockey winger. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Anaheim Ducks, Tampa Bay Lightning and Detroit Red Wings. 2005–06 NHL Season
The 2005–06 NHL season was the 89th season of operation (88th season of play) of the National Hockey League (NHL). This season succeeded the 2004–05 season which had all of its scheduled games canceled due to a labor dispute with the National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA) over the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between the League and its players.
