"Everytime You Touch Me" is a song by American electronica musician Moby, released on February 13, 1995, as the third single from his third studio album, '' Everything Is Wrong'' (1995). Guest vocals on the song are performed by Rozz Morehead and Kochie Banton. It was a number one hit in Finland, and a top 20 hit in Ireland, the Netherlands, Scotland, and on the Canadian ''RPM'' Dance/Urban chart. In the UK, the song peaked at number 28. Release Before the release of the "Everytime You Touch Me" single, a remix competition was held. The winning remix, made by Jude Sebastian, is featured as track three on the single. In 2000, a 12-inch single was pressed in honour of the other remix contestants. A related promotional EP entitled ''Disk'' was released by Elektra in 1995. Beatmasters
The Beatmasters are an English electronic music group who gained success in the UK in the late 1980s with four top 20 hit singles. They then went on to produce and remix records for many other artists. The group's string of chart hit singles include "Burn It Up", "Hey DJ! (I Can't Dance to that Music You're Playing)", "Who's in the House" (featuring Merlin) and "Rok da House". The latter, having been recorded in 1986, is one of the earliest examples of hip house and most likely the first song of the genre. Hip house is a subgenre of house music which features rap vocals performed over a house rhythm track. Their initial success brought comparisons with pop record producers Stock Aitken Waterman, but the Beatmasters cited rival producers Coldcut as their major competitor. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. Initiated in 1991, the database was first made available on the Internet in 1994. AllMusic is owned by RhythmOne. History AllMusic was launched as ''All Music Guide'' by Michael Erlewine, a "compulsive archivist, noted astrologer, Buddhist scholar and musician". In the issue dated March 16, 1985, ''Billboard'' magazine debuted its first chart devoted exclusively to 12-inch Singles Sales. The 50-position weekly ranking joined ''Billboard''s established Club Songs chart, reduced to the same 50 positions, both under the title Hot Dance/Disco. A coupling from MCA Records' ''Beverly Hills Cop'' soundtrack, Patti LaBelle's " New Attitude" and Harold Faltermeyer's "Axel F", held the No. 1 slot for the chart's first week and was also No. 1 for the second consecutive week on the most played dance/disco chart. On June 20, 1992, the chart was renamed Maxi-Singles Sales, then simply Dance Singles Sales on March 1, 2003. Record Mirror
''Record Mirror'' was a British weekly music newspaper between 1954 and 1991 for pop fans and record collectors. Launched two years after the ''NME'', it never attained the circulation of its rival. The first UK album chart was published in ''Record Mirror'' in 1956, and during the 1980s it was the only consumer music paper to carry the official UK singles and UK albums charts used by the BBC for Radio 1 and ''Top of the Pops'', as well as the US ''Billboard'' charts. The title ceased to be a stand-alone publication in April 1991 when United Newspapers closed or sold most of their consumer magazines, including ''Record Mirror'' and its sister music magazine ''Sounds'', to concentrate on trade papers like ''Music Week''. ''Music Week'' is a trade publication for the UK record industry distributed via a website and a monthly print magazine. It is published by Future. History Founded in 1959 as '' Record Retailer'', it relaunched on 18 March 1972 as ''Music Week''.
