"Everything Changes" is a Swedish English language single by Markus Fagervall, winner of the Swedish version of Idol in its third season in 2006. He sang the winning song when he was declared winner on 1 December 2006. The single went straight to number one on the Swedish Singles Chart on 7 December 2006 and stayed at that position for seven weeks, making it both the Swedish Christmas and the New Year number one. It was also certified platinum in Sweden, selling over 20,000 copies. The song is a pop and rock song written by Jörgen Elofsson and produced by Peter Kvint. Markus Fagervall
Markus Eino Fagervall (born 5 October 1982 in Kiruna, Norrbotten County) won Idol 2006, the third season of the Swedish version of Pop Idol. Fagervall beat Erik Segerstedt on 1 December 2006 to take the title. His first single "Everything Changes" peaked at number one on the Swedish Singles Chart. His debut album, ''Echo Heart'', was released on 18 December the same year and has to date been certified double platinum. Prior to winning Idol, Markus was the vocalist in the progressive rock band, Liquid Scarlet. In 2008, Fagervall was a contestant in the Swedish version of Dancing on Ice, hosted by Carolina Gynning and Carina Berg. Mats Erik Segerstedt (born 20 April 1983) is a Swedish singer. Segerstedt was born in Uddevalla. As a student he attended the Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm. He was the runner-up to Markus Fagervall on the third season of Swedish version of ''Idol 2006''.
