Everything (Mr. Children Album)
''Everything'', is the seven-track EP recorded by Japanese pop rock band Mr. Children, released under the record label Toy's Factory in May 1992. It has generally been considered their first studio album. In 1991, the band met the record producer Takeshi Kobayashi for the first time. They started the recording together in December of that year, at the Sound Sky and Starship studios. Although the producer suggested changing its lyrics slightly, all songs appeared on the EP had already been written before they signed a recording contract, and also played in their early live performances. ''Everything'' had a steady sales after the band gained public recognition, reaching the top-30 on the Japanese Oricon albums chart and spending 83 weeks on the top-100 with sales of over 450,000 copies. Pop Rock

Takeshi Kobayashi
(born June 7, 1959), is a Japanese keyboardist, lyricist, composer, arranger, and record producer. History Kobayashi started his professional career in the late 1970s. After working in the backing bands for singers such as Yosui Inoue, Misato Watanabe, and Anri, he came into prominence as a musical collaborator for the Southern All Stars frontman Keisuke Kuwata's eponymous 1988 solo album. Although his own leader albums failed to receive public attention, Kobayashi garnered commercial success in collaboration as producer or songwriter with other artists. As an arranger of his own composition "Anata ni Aete Yokatta" co-written and performed by Kyōko Koizumi in 1991, Kobayashi won the 33rd Japan Record Awards for Best Arrangement category. ''Kind of Love'' is the first long-play record by Japanese rock band Mr. Children The album was issued in December 1992, only 7 months after the release of their debut EP entitled ''Everything''. It has commonly been regarded as the band's second studio album. Basic tracks for ''Kind of Love'' were recorded in the suite of Hilton Tokyo Hotel, and later additional instruments and backing vocals were overdubbed in the studios. The album consists of 11 songs mostly composed by the band's primary singer-songwriter Kazutoshi Sakurai, including some of which co-written by the producer Takeshi Kobayashi or the Jun Sky Walker(s)' bassist Yohito Teraoka. The Pillows
