Everyday Process is a Christian hip hop duo from Chester, Pennsylvania. The members are Iz-Real and Mac the Doulos. Chester, Pennsylvania
Chester is a city in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. Located within the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area, it is the only city in Delaware County and had a population of 32,605 as of the 2020 census. Christian hip hop (originally gospel rap, also known as Christian rap, gospel hip hop or holy hip hop) is a subgenre of contemporary Christian music and hip hop music. It emerged from urban contemporary music and Christian media in the United States during the 1980s. Christian hip hop music first emerged on record in 1982 with a track entitled "Jesus Christ (The Gospel Beat)" by Queens, New York artist McSweet. Urban Contemporary Gospel
Urban/contemporary gospel is a modern subgenre of gospel music. Although the style developed gradually, early forms are generally dated to the 1970s, and the genre was well established by the end of the 1980s. Cross Movement Records
Cross Movement Records is an American-based Christian hip hop record label founded by The Cross Movement. CMR, founded in 1997, had an agreement with BEC Recordings. In 2005 they made a license agreement with Reach Records' Lecrae. CMR was to release his first three solo albums. Hence solidifying the label's span of music, including Da' T.R.U.T.H. and the Cross Movement for the East Coast, and the Midwest with the artists FLAME and J.R. In 2006 a new imprint was made, Issachar Recordings, meant to release albums with different musical styles than hip hop. The first album of the label was Michelle Bonilla's R&B album: "Phenomenal" (2006). In 2007, the hip-hop duo Everyday Process was added to the CMR roster as well as Rhyme Council artist, R-Swift. Cross Rhythms is a Christian media organisation based in Stoke-on-Trent, England. It operates an FM and online radio station, produces radio shows sent internationally, and its website has resources about contemporary Christian music. History 1983–2002 In 1983, Chris Cole started a 30-minute weekly Christian music radio show on Plymouth Sound FM, an Independent Local Radio station in Plymouth.
