''Everybody Likes Some Kind of Music'' is the eighth studio album by American musician Billy Preston. It was released in September 1973 on A&M Records. Songs and musical style The album includes the instrumental "Space Race", which was released as a single and was a sequel of sorts to Preston's 1971 hit "Outa-Space". The instrumental proved popular enough that the musical variety show '' American Bandstand'' used it as the song for its mid-broadcast break from the mid-1970s until the show completed its run in 1989. The album also features of cover of Bob Dylan's "It's Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)". "How Long Has the Train Been Gone" was released as a single, as was "You're So Unique" the following year. ''Black and Blue'' is the 13th British and 15th American studio album by the English rock band the Rolling Stones, released on 23 April 1976 by Rolling Stones Records. This album was the first recorded after former guitarist Mick Taylor quit in December 1974. As he had done the previous time the Stones were between second guitarists in 1968, Keith Richards recorded the bulk of the guitar parts himself, though the album recording sessions also served as an audition for Taylor's replacement. Richards said of the album that it was used for "rehearsing guitar players, that's what that one was about." Clarence "Mac" McDonald (1944 or 1945 – July 21, 2021) was a Los Angeles-based American pianist, composer, arranger, and producer. McDonald was known for his musical diversity, enduring melodies and signature groove. His most famous composition is '' Silly'' sung by Deniece Williams in 1981 and Taral Hicks in 1997. A male soprano, he was especially active in the late 1960s and the 1970s as a backing vocalist for rock artists seeking to achieve a more polished vocal performance on their recordings.
