"Everybody Knows" is a song written by Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen and collaborator Sharon Robinson. It has often been covered and used in soundtracks. Song "Everybody Knows" was first released on Cohen's album '' I'm Your Man'', February 1988. Five minutes, 37 seconds in duration, "Everybody Knows" is known for its somber tone and repetition of the title at the beginning of most lines. Leonard Norman Cohen (September 21, 1934November 7, 2016) was a Canadian singer-songwriter, poet and novelist. His work explored religion, politics, isolation, depression, sexuality, loss, death, and romantic relationships. ''Everybody Knows'' is an album by Stephen Stills and Judy Collins, credited to "Stills & Collins". It marks the first collaboration between the former lovers and longtime friends. It was financed through a crowdfunding campaign on PledgeMusic. Background From 1968 to 1969, Stills and Collins were romantically involved. Lian Lunson (born 3 February 1959) is an Australian actress who became a filmmaker and author. Biography Lian Lunson was born in Victoria, outside Melbourne. After attending The Ensemble drama school in Sydney and working as an actor, she moved to Los Angeles in 1987 to join the film industry.
