"Every Other Way" is a song by American musician BT featuring Jes, released as the second single from BT's sixth studio album, '' These Hopeful Machines''. It's also the first of two collaborations with singer Jes from the album. After lengthy negotiations with BT, the song was remixed by PureNRG (Solarstone and Giuseppe Ottaviani), with BT & Jes - Every Other Way (PureNRG Extended Remix) being released December, 2017. Jes Brieden (born May 10, 1974), known simply as Jes (stylized as JES), is an American singer, songwriter, producer, composer, and DJ from New York. She is a co-founder of the US dance band Motorcycle, who released the world-famous song "As the Rush Comes" in 2003. Early life Jes Brieden, born and raised in New York City, studied art and singing in an art school. She first began experimenting with music production at her friends' studios. By age 16 she made her first vocal recordings as a reference vocalist, and was also working as a backup singer for several major recording labels. Released on February 1, 2010, the album sees collaborations with the likes of JES, Rob Dickinson, Christian Burns and Kirsty Hawkshaw, also featuring a cover of " The Ghost in You" by The Psychedelic Furs. Because some tracks exceed 10 minutes in length, the album spans two discs with six tracks on each. Black Hole Recordings is a Dutch record label founded by Tijs Verwest (Tiësto) and Arny Bink in 1997. In August 2009, Tiësto decided to leave Black Hole Recordings, setting up the record label Musical Freedom in association with PIAS Entertainment Group.
