''Everlasting Love'' is a compilation album by German singer Sandra, released in 1988 by Virgin Records. Overview The album was released in late 1988 only in the UK, North America and Australia. It consists of most singles from Sandra's first three studio albums plus "Everlasting Love", the latter remixed to match the taste of the Anglo-American audience. The PWL version of "Everlasting Love" was released to promote the compilation and was a minor chart hit in the UK, although the album itself was not a commercial success. Sandra (singer)
Sandra Ann Lauer (born 18 May 1962), commonly known under her stage name Sandra and Sandra Cretu (), is a Franco-German pop singer who enjoyed mainstream popularity in the 1980s and early 1990s with a string of European hit singles, produced by her then-husband and musical partner, Michael Cretu, most notably " (I'll Never Be) Maria Magdalena" (1985), " In the Heat of the Night" (1985), " Everlasting Love" (1987), "Secret Land" (1988), "Hiroshima" (1990) and "Don't Be Aggressive" (1992). "Secret Land" is a 1988 pop song by German singer Sandra. It was written by Uwe Gronau, Hubert Kemmler, Michael Cretu, Mats Björklund, Susanne Müller-Pi, Klaus Hirschburger and Michael Höing, and produced by Cretu. It is an adaptation of the 1987 Kemmler-produced song "Trenchcoat Man" recorded by the short-lived German band Fabrique, the members of which were Gronau and Höing. "Secret Land" was released in September 1988 as the second single preceding Sandra's third studio album, '' Into a Secret Land''. The song charted in the top 10 in Germany and Switzerland, and reached the top 20 in a number of other European countries. "Little Girl" is a 1985 pop song performed by German singer Sandra. It was composed by Michael Cretu, Hubert Kemmler (known as Hubert Kah), and Markus Löhr to lyrics written by Klaus Hirschburger. Frank Peterson
Frank Peterson (born 29 December 1963) is a German music producer known for his work with Enigma and artists such as Sarah Brightman, Ofra Haza, Gregorian, Princessa, and Andrea Bocelli on his first international album, ''Romanza''. Peterson was born in Hamburg. As a child, he taught himself to play the piano and keyboard, going on to work in a music store. It was here that he met Michael Cretu and became lead keyboardist for Sandra, appearing prominently on her hit single "Maria Magdalena". He was a member of Sandra's band for a few more years, then moved with the Cretus to Ibiza. While there, he became involved with Cretu's new project, Enigma, under the pseudonym of ''F. Gregorian''. Peterson contributed to their first album, '' MCMXC a.D.'', writing several tracks.
