The Goidelic or Gaelic languages ( ga, teangacha Gaelacha; gd, cànanan Goidhealach; gv, çhengaghyn Gaelgagh) form one of the two groups of Insular Celtic languages, the other being the Brittonic languages. Goidelic languages historically formed a dialect continuum stretching from Ireland through the Isle of Man to Scotland. There are three modern Goidelic languages: Irish ('), Scottish Gaelic ('), and Manx ('). Manx died out as a first language in the 20th century but has since been revived to some degree. Kevin Everett (born February 5, 1982) is a former American football tight end who played for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Bills in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Miami after transferring from Kilgore College where he played on an undefeated team in 2001 under head coach Jimmy Rieves. On September 9, 2007, Everett's playing career came to an end when he sustained a fracture and dislocation of his cervical spine that his doctors characterized as "life-threatening" the day after the injury, and stated it is likely to leave him with permanent neurological impairment. James Seabrook Everett (20 July 1884 – 19 June 1968) was an Australian rules footballer who played with West Perth in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). Family The son of George James Everett (1842–1915), and Martha Susannah Everett (1853–1935), née Doust, James Seabrook Everett was born in Toodyay, Western Australia on 20 July 1884. He married Agnes Florence Gardiner Robertson (1884–) on 17 May 1913. James Samuel Everett III (born January 3, 1963) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons, primarily with the Los Angeles Rams. He played college football for the Purdue Boilermakers and was selected as the third pick in the first round of the 1986 NFL Draft by the Houston Oilers. Unable to work out a contract agreement with Everett, the Oilers traded his rights to the Rams, with whom Everett played from 1986 to 1993. Harold Everett (13 November 1891 – 27 April 1979) was an English first-class cricketer and civil servant. Everett was born at Kennington. He represented the Civil Service cricket team in its only appearance in first-class cricket against the touring New Zealanders at Chiswick in 1927. Danny Everett (born November 1, 1966) is an American former track and field athlete who competed in sprinting events, specializing in the 400 metres. He won bronze medals in the 400m at the 1988 Olympic Games and at the 1991 World Championships, and won gold medals in the 4 × 400 m relay at the 1987 World Championships and the 1988 Olympic Games. Allan Everett
Allan Everett (12 April 1913 – 22 October 2003) was an Australian rules footballer who played with and coached Geelong Football Club, Geelong in the Australian Football League, Victorian Football League (VFL). A hard running rebound defender, Everett was used mostly in the back pockets. He came to Geelong from Lismore and spent some of his early games at half forward. Everett, a dual VFL interstate representative, was a member of Geelong's premiership team in 1937. He was captain-coach of Geelong for part of the 1940 season and steered the club to seven wins. Jeffery Adam Everett (born February 5, 1977), is an American former professional baseball shortstop and third baseman. He played college baseball for both the NC State Wolfpack and South Carolina Gamecocks. He was drafted in the first round of the 1998 Major League Baseball Draft and established himself for his defensive prowess as the starting shortstop for the Houston Astros in 2003. Everett continued his involvement in baseball as a roving infield instructor for the Houston Astros minor league system, and was named bench coach for the Astros on September 1, 2014.
