Everard Jackson
Everard Stanley Jackson (12 January 1914 – 20 September 1975) was a New Zealand rugby union player. A Rugby union positions#Prop, prop, Jackson represented East Coast Rugby Football Union, East Coast, Hawke's Bay Rugby Union, Hawke's Bay and Wellington Rugby Football Union, Wellington at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, from 1936 to 1938. He played 11 matches (including six internationals) for the All Blacks. He also played for Māori All Blacks, New Zealand Māori in 1936. Jackson was the son of British-born rugby player Frederick Stanley Jackson, Fred Jackson, and Horowai Jackson (née Henderson) from Te Araroa (town), Te Araroa. Horowai was the daughter of Everard Hannon Henderson, a British man, and his wife Kamaea Ngatoko of Ngāti Porou. Hastings, New Zealand
Hastings (; mi, Heretaunga) is an inland city of New Zealand and is one of the two major urban areas in Hawke's Bay, on the east coast of the North Island. The population of Hastings (including Flaxmere) is (as of with a further people in Havelock North and in Clive. Hastings is about 18 kilometres inland of the coastal city of Napier. These two neighbouring cities are often called "The Bay Cities" or "The Twin Cities". The city is the administrative centre of the Hastings District. Auckland War Memorial Museum
The Auckland War Memorial Museum Tāmaki Paenga Hira (or simply the Auckland Museum) is one of New Zealand's most important museums and war memorials. Its collections concentrate on New Zealand history (and especially the history of the Auckland Region), natural history, and military history. The present museum building was constructed in the 1920s in the neo-classicist style, and sits on a grassed plinth (the remains of a dormant volcano) in the Auckland Domain, a large public park close to the Auckland CBD. Iwi () are the largest social units in New Zealand Māori society. In Māori roughly means "people" or "nation", and is often translated as "tribe", or "a confederation of tribes".
