''Eve'' is the seventh studio album by American post-hardcore band Emery. The album was released on November 9, 2018, through the band's own label, BadChristian Music. Background Emery launched an Indiegogo campaign on March 17, 2017, for the band's seventh studio album. The campaign had a finance goal of $50,000 and was met after just 36 hours. Backers were given an instant download of the ''Emery: Classics Reimagined EP'', which features re-recorded versions of "So Cold I Can See My Breath", "As Your Voice Fades", and "The Smile, The Face". Controversy The cover art, which features a naked woman with a bag over her head, caused some controversy due to the woman's buttocks being exposed. An edited version of the artwork was created by Jesus Freak Hideout. Emery (band)
Emery is an American post-hardcore band formed in Rock Hill, South Carolina, in 2001 by Toby Morrell, Devin Shelton, Matt Carter, Josh Head, Joel Green, and Seth Studley. The band relocated to Seattle in order to reach a more music-centered scene. Before signing with Tooth & Nail Records, Emery recorded two EPs, ''The Columbus EEP Thee'' and ''The Weak's End'' demo that they used to attract attention from labels. With Tooth & Nail, they recorded five studio albums and two EPs. '' The Weak's End'', their debut album, was released in 2004, followed by '' The Question'' in 2005 and '' I'm Only a Man'' in 2007. The latter fulfilled Emery's contract with Tooth & Nail. Beau Burchell
Beau Burchell (born December 17, 1978) is an American musician, record producer, and audio engineer from Orange County, California. As a performer, he is best known as the guitarist and backing vocalist in Saosin. He is one of Saosin's founders, and the band's only remaining member who has played with the band through its entire existence. He has previously been a member of Kosmos Express and Open Hand. Burchell also has a prolific reputation as a record producer. He has been credited on over thirty albums of various types of punk rock. He also owns the record label Death Do Us Part. ''You Were Never Alone'' is the sixth studio album by the American rock band Emery, released on May 19, 2015. It is the first album to be released through band's own independent label BadChristian and Rude Records. Recording, release and promotion In March 2014, the band released a demo of two new songs. The album was funded via IndieGoGo crowdfunding campaign and was set to be released in mid-2014 but the release date was later pushed back. In addition to the album, the band was also going to release a music video, a re-recorded version of song "Anne Marie" and an acoustic EP/LP due to the achievement of the "stretch goals" during the crowdfunding project.
