Eva Van der Gucht (born 1 September 1977) is a Belgian actress. Eva graduated in 2000 at the Amsterdam Theater and Drama academie. While studying she was selected to star in the film ''Everybody's Famous! ''Everybody's Famous!'' ( nl-BE, Iedereen beroemd!) is a 2000 Belgian satirical comedy film directed by Dominique Deruddere about a young teenage girl who is pushed by her poor parents to become a musical star. Mortsel
Mortsel () is a city and municipality close to the city of Antwerp located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the city of Mortsel proper. In 2021, Mortsel had a total population of 26,170 people. The total area is 7.78 km². Geography The city consists of the areas Mortsel-Dorp, Oude-God and Luithagen. Mortsel is bordered by Antwerp (districts Wilrijk, Berchem and Deurne), Borsbeek, Boechout, Hove, and Edegem. History Mortsel was the scene for one of the major collateral damage tragedies of World War II. On 5 April 1943, the Minerva car factory, then used to repair Luftwaffe planes, was the target of a bombing raid by the USAAF. ''Time of My Life'' ( nl, Tot Altijd) is a 2012 Belgian film written and directed by Nic Balthazar. The story is based upon real life events and contains original news footage. Plot The story is set between 1980 and 2002. In 1980 Mario Verstraete was a healthy Belgian with big ambitions. Some years later he is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Mario decides to advocate for legalizing euthanasia. He starts up an action group to convince the government to allow the practice under restricted conditions. His plan works and the Belgian government approves an enactment on 28 May 2002: Euthanasia is allowed when an adult victim can't be cured, has to live in unworthy conditions, and at least three doctors confirm this situation. Verstraete was the first Belgian to commit euthanasia on 30 September 2002.
