Eva Puskarčíková
Eva Puskarčíková (, born 3 January 1991) is a former Czech biathlete. Career Her best result in the Biathlon World Cup is 3rd place in the pursuit in the 2016–17 season. She competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Her best result here was 3th place in relay, shared with her Czech teammates Gabriela Soukalová, Jitka Landová and Veronika Vítková Veronika Vítková (; born on 9 December 1988) is a Czech former biathlete. Jilemnice
Jilemnice (; german: Starkenbach) is a town in Semily District in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 5,400 inhabitants. Gabriela Soukalová
Gabriela Soukalová, formerly Koukalová () (born 1 November 1989 in Jablonec nad Nisou, Czechoslovakia) is a former Czech biathlete and television presenter for TV Prima. She won three Olympic medals at the 2014 Sochi Games and she is a two-time World Championship winner, gold medalist at the 2015 Kontiolahti in mixed relay and gold medalist at 2017 Hochfilzen in 7.5 km sprint. In the 2015/2016 World Cup season she was overall champion, and she has also taken six discipline Crystal Globes: the 2013/2014 individual title, the 2015/2016 sprint, pursuit and mass-start titles, and the 2016/17 sprint and mass start titles. The Biathlon World Championships 2021 took place in Pokljuka, Slovenia, from 9 to 21 February 2021. Host selection On 4 September 2016, Tyumen won the voting (25 votes) during the 12th IBU Congress in Chisinau in Moldova over Pokljuka in Slovenia (13 votes) and Nové Město na Moravě in the Czech Republic (11 votes). Also Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, withdrew their bid for 2021 championships before the vote took place due to winning of an election for the host of the 2020 event. Just before the Biathlon World Championships 2017 in Hochfilzen, Austria, IBU forced Russia to give back rights due to the doping scandal, for revote process after 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, Republic of Korea. The Biathlon World Championships 2019 took place in Östersund, Sweden, from 6 to 17 March 2019. There were a total of 12 competitions: sprint, pursuit, individual, mass start, and relay races for men and women, and two mixed relay races. The single mixed relay was on the program of the World Championships for the first time. All the events during this championships also counted for the 2018–19 Biathlon World Cup season. Host selection On 7 September 2014, Östersund won the voting (27 votes) in St. Wolfgang, Austria over Antholz, Italy (16 votes), Nové Město na Moravě, Czech Republic (4 votes) and Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia (2 votes). Biathlon at the 2018 Winter Olympics was held at the Alpensia Biathlon Centre, Daegwallyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, South Korea. There were eleven events contested: men and women competed in each of sprint, pursuit, individual, mass start, and relay; there was also a mixed relay event. The women's 10 km pursuit biathlon competition of the Sochi 2014 Olympics was held at Laura Biathlon & Ski Complex on 11 February 2014. In the pursuit competition, the competitors start times were determined according to the results of the Women's sprint held two days earlier, with the sprint champion Anastasiya Kuzmina starting first. None of the sprint medalists won a medal in the pursuit. Instead, Darya Domracheva of Belarus became the champion, with Tora Berger of Norway winning the silver medal, and Teja Gregorin of Slovenian winning the bronze. Gregorin's medal became the first ever medal of Slovenia in biathlon.
