Eva Margot
Eva Margot born Johansen (1944 – 2019) was a Norwegian painter, active from the 1970s until her death in 2019. Her work is largely inspired by Norwegian nature and legends. She covers a diverse spectrum of styles: figurative, realism, symbolism, abstract. Biography Eva Margot Roux (born Johansen) was born on January 10, 1944, and grew up in a working family in Mosby, a small town ten kilometers north of Kristiansand in Norway. Very early on she revealed the gifts of designer and storyteller. A few years later, she followed a course in drawing by correspondence (NKS, Norwegian course in correspondence), and followed courses in painting with the painter Arne Solheim in Kristiansand. Else Marie Jakobsen (28 February 1927 – 12 December 2012) was a Norwegian designer and textile artist. Biography Jakobsen was born and raised in Kristiansand, Norway. She graduated from Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry (now Oslo National Academy of the Arts) in 1951. She also studied at a Gobelin tapestry workshop at Uitgeverij In de Knipscheer in the Netherlands during 1950. She was from 1951, both a designer and an artist in the textile industries, At the same time she began to make tapestries. Her debut exhibition was held at the Artists' Association (''Kunstnerforbundet'') at Oslo in 1966. In addition, she was active as a speaker across Norway and in other countries as well. ''Agderposten'' is a daily newspaper published in Arendal, Norway. History and profile ''Agderposten'' was founded by teacher Jens Svendsen and published for the first time on 1 July 1874. Svendsen was the owner and editor-in-chief until 1919. His son Jens Svendsen Jr. was a co-editor for a couple of years. Later editors were Jens Vevstad from 1919 to 1928, Magne Torsvik from 1928 to 1936, then Robert Knudsen. Regarding ownership, a stock company named Agderposten was set up in 1919.
