Eusebio Cáceres
Eusebio Cáceres López (born 10 September 1991 in Onil) is a Spanish track and field athlete who specialises in the long jump. Career He began competing in a wide variety of events at the start of his junior career, including the decathlon. He won the long jump bronze medal at the 2008 World Junior Championships in Athletics. His first senior gold medal in the event soon followed at the 2009 European Team Championships, where he jumped a personal best of eight metres, and he also reached the semi-finals of the 100 metres at the 2009 European Athletics Junior Championships. He helped the Spanish 4×100 metres relay team to sixth in the event final in a national junior record time of 40.03 seconds. Cáceres set the world junior best mark of 5984 points in the indoor heptathlon at the 2010 Spanish junior championships. Onil
Onil (, ) is a town located in the comarca of L'Alcoià, in the province of Alicante (province), Alicante, Spain. It has an area of 48.41 km2 and, according to the 2006 census, a total population of 7466 inhabitants and a population density of 154.22 inhabitants/km2. 2019 European Athletics Indoor Championships
The 2019 European Athletics Indoor Championships was held between 1 and 3 March 2019 at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow, Scotland. This was the second time this event was held in the city after the 1990 edition and the third time it was held in the United Kingdom, following the 2007 Edition in Birmingham, England. The three-day competition featured 13 men's and 13 women's athletics events and took place over three morning and three afternoon sessions. Bids Apeldoorn, Glasgow, Minsk and Toruń all submitted bids to host the 2019 European Indoor championships. Glasgow were chosen to host the 35th edition of the event with 9 votes ahead of Toruń with 6 votes and Apeldoorn with 1. It is 29 years since Glasgow had last hosted the championships. 2013 World Championships In Athletics
The 14th IAAF World Championships in Athletics (Moscow 2013) () was an international athletics competition held in Moscow, Russia, from 10–18 August 2013. Initially, Russia won the most gold medals to top the table for the first time since 2001. It was also the first time ever the host nation took the top of the medal table. However, after disqualification of Russian sprinter Antonina Krivoshapka for doping and following redistribution of medals in the Women's 4 × 400 metres relay (as well as after series of other disqualifications of Russian athletes for doping offences), United States topped the medal table with eight golds.
