European Gravel Championships
The European Gravel Championships (Officially:UEC Gravel European Championships) are the set of European championship events for gravel races and have been regulated by the European Cycling Union since 2023. The championships are for Elite riders. Championships are open to riders selected by their national cycling governing body and they compete in the colours of their country. UCI Gravel World Championships
The UCI Gravel World Championships are the world championship events for gravel cycling in the disciplines of cross country. They are organized by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the governing body of world cycling. The discipline covers the space between standard road cycling on paved and asphalted roads, and the all-terrain disciplines of mountain bike cross-country and cyclo-cross. The races share the length and tactical nature of road racing parcours, but embrace the unpredictability and technical skill of off-road cycling. The first three finishers in each discipline at the World Championships are awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals. The winner of each discipline is also entitled to wear the rainbow jersey in events of the same discipline until the following year's World Championships. Flag Of Europe
The Flag of Europe or European Flag consists of twelve golden stars forming a circle on a blue field. It was designed and adopted in 1955 by the Council of Europe (CoE) as a symbol for the whole of Europe. Since 1985, the flag has also been a symbol of the European Union (EU), whose 27 member states are all also CoE members, although in that year the EU had not yet assumed its present name or constitutional form (which came in steps in 1993 and 2009).
