European Australian Business Council
The European Australian Business Council (EABC) is a non-for-profit corporate forum based in Sydney, Australia. The EABC's stated mission is to promote trade, investment and institutional co-operation between Australia and Europe by collaborating with Australian and European business groups, governments, public institutions, embassies, consulates, chambers of commerce and trade & investment agencies. The EABC is a founding member of the European Business Organisations Network. Mission The purpose of the EABC is to foster stronger diplomatic and economic relations between Europe and Australia. Mathias Cormann
Mathias Hubert Paul Cormann (; ; born 20 September 1970) is a Belgian-born Australian politician and diplomat who currently serves as Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), having assumed the office on 1 June 2021. Previously, he was Australian Minister for Finance from 2013 to 2020 and a Senator from Western Australia for the Liberal Party from 2007 to 2020. The Australian Trade and Investment Commission, or Austrade ( ), is the Australian Government's trade, investment and education promotion agency which was also given responsibility for tourism policy, programs and research from 2013. Austrade was established under the ''Australian Trade Commission Act 1985.'' Peter Cosgrove
General Sir Peter John Cosgrove, (born 28 July 1947) is a retired senior Australian Army officer who served as the 26th governor-general of Australia, in office from 2014 to 2019. A graduate of the Royal Military College, Duntroon, Cosgrove fought in the Vietnam War, receiving the Military Cross in 1971. From 1983 to 1984, he was commander of the 1st Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, and he later served as commander of the 6th Brigade and the 1st Division. Andrew John Robb (born 20 August 1951) is a former Australian politician. He was a member of the House of Representatives from 2004 to 2016, representing the Liberal Party. He served as Minister for Trade and Investment (2013–2016) in the Abbott and Turnbull Governments, and also briefly as Minister for Vocational and Further Education in the Howard Government in 2007. Simon Crean
Simon Findlay Crean (born 26 February 1949) is an Australian politician and trade unionist. He was the Member of Parliament for Hotham from 1990 to 2013, representing the Labor Party, and served as a Cabinet Minister in the Hawke, Keating, Rudd and Gillard Governments. He was the Leader of the Labor Party and Leader of the Opposition from November 2001 to December 2003. Crean was born in Melbourne, Victoria.
