Eurocom Games
Eurocom (formerly Eurocom Entertainment Software) was a British video game developer founded in October 1988 by Mat Sneap, Chris Shrigley, Hugh Binns, Tim Rogers and Neil Baldwin, to specifically develop games for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Eurocom expanded to several other platforms, including Handheld game console, handheld game systems and most major video game consoles. The company was known for its Arcade game, arcade to console ports and games based on licensed properties. They also developed a few original properties, such as ''Magician (video game), Magician'', ''Machine Hunter'', ''40 Winks (video game), 40 Winks'', and ''Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy''. On 23 November 2012, Eurocom laid off around 75% of their 200 employees. On 6 December 2012, the company laid off its remaining staff and ceased operations. A privately held company (or simply a private company) is a company whose shares and related rights or obligations are not offered for public subscription or publicly negotiated in the respective listed markets, but rather the company's stock is offered, owned, traded, exchanged privately, or Over-the-counter (finance), over-the-counter. Dropzone
''Dropzone'' is a horizontally scrolling shooter developed by Archer Maclean (under the name Arena Graphics) for the Atari 8-bit family and published in 1984 by U.S. Gold. It was ported to the Commodore 64, then later released for the Nintendo Entertainment System, Game Boy, Game Gear, and Game Boy Color. Maclean's first commercial game, ''Dropzone'' is similar in gameplay and style to the arcade game '' Defender'' and borrows many elements, including the same style of font, aliens, and title screen. Plot On the surface of Jupiter's moon, Io, a human scientific research base is under attack by aliens. The player dons a jetpack armed with a laser, a cloaking device and three smart bombs, to rescue the scientists and return them to the base. Donald In Maui Mallard
''Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow'' – originally released as ''Donald in Maui Mallard'' – is a platforming video game developed and published by Disney Interactive Studios. The game was released in Europe on December 8, 1995, and in Brazil in spring 1997 for the Sega Mega Drive. It was also ported by Eurocom Entertainment Software to the SNES and released in North America in January 1997, in Europe mostly in autumn 1996 (although the SNES version was released in Germany at the end of 1995), and in Japan on December 20, 1996. A Microsoft Windows port was released in North America in November 1996. It was ported one last time to the Game Boy by Bonsai Entertainment Corp., released in North America in August 1998. ''Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3'' is a fighting game in the ''Mortal Kombat'' series, developed and released by Midway Games, Midway to Video arcade, arcades in 1995. It is a standalone update of 1995's earlier ''Mortal Kombat 3'' with an altered gameplay system, additional characters like the returning favorites Kitana and Scorpion (Mortal Kombat), Scorpion who were missing from ''Mortal Kombat 3'', and some new features. Several home Porting, port versions of the game were soon released after the arcade original. Although none were completely identical to the arcade version, the Sega Saturn port came closest. Some later home versions followed the arcade original with more accuracy. Spot Goes To Hollywood
''Spot Goes to Hollywood'' is a platforming video game developed by Eurocom and published by Acclaim Entertainment in North America and Virgin Interactive Entertainment in Europe for the Sega Genesis, Mega Drive/Genesis as the sequel to ''Cool Spot''. A Sega Saturn and PlayStation (console), PlayStation version was later released, and featured Full motion video, FMV clips and different levels but similar gameplay to the original version. It utilizes an Isometric video game graphics, isometric graphics system to provide a pseudo-3D playing experience. The player controls Spot, once the mascot for the 7 Up soft drink (itself owned by Keurig Dr Pepper), as he travels to various places trying to free his friends. Earthworm Jim (video Game)
''Earthworm Jim'' is a 1994 run and gun platform game developed by Shiny Entertainment, featuring an earthworm named Jim, who wears a robotic suit and battles the forces of evil. The game was released for the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo Entertainment System, before being subsequently ported to a number of other video game consoles. It was well received by critics, and received a sequel, ''Earthworm Jim 2'', in 1995. In 2009, Gameloft developed and released a remake for mobile phones and Nintendo DSi which was later ported to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as '' Earthworm Jim HD''. Family Feud (video Game Series)
The video game series based on the game show ''Family Feud'' began with ShareData's 1987 release on the Apple II and Commodore 64 consoles. In 1990 GameTek released a version on the NES. GameTek later released four more ''Feud'' games for the Super NES, Sega Genesis, 3DO, and PC between 1993 and 1995. Hasbro Interactive, Global Star, and Ubisoft have also released versions starting in 2000. ShareData versions ShareData released the first video game versions of the game show in 1987 on the Apple II and Commodore 64, with two versions of the packaging: one shows a drawing of a just completed round (using the Milton Bradley home game art design), and another shows a full shot of the set from the first Richard Dawson era. ''Disney's The Jungle Book'' is a series of platform video games based on the 1967 Disney animated film of the same name. The game was released by Virgin Interactive Entertainment in 1994 for the Game Boy, NES, Master System, Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, Sega Game Gear, Super NES, and PC, and a remake for the Game Boy Advance was released in 2003 to celebrate the film's sequel, ''The Jungle Book 2''. Paws Of Fury
A paw is the soft foot-like part of a mammal, generally a quadruped, that has claws. Common characteristics The paw is characterised by thin, pigmented, keratinised, hairless epidermis covering subcutaneous collagenous and adipose tissue, which make up the pads. These pads act as a cushion for the load-bearing limbs of the animal. The paw consists of the large, heart-shaped metacarpal or palmar pad (forelimb) or metatarsal or plantar pad (rear limb), and generally four load-bearing digital pads, although there can be five or six toes in the case of domestic cats and bears (including giant panda).
