Euro-Asia Cup
The Euro-Asia Cup, more recently known as the Asia-Euro Cup or Asia-Europe All Stars Challenge, is a table tennis team competition currently held annually in China between teams of professional players representing Asia and Europe. History First held in 1986 to 1989 with singles and team events, then re-held in 2009 with only team events, in 2009 to 2013 the competition featured two events each year: one held in China and the other held in a European city. Since 2013, there has just been one event held annually in China, currently organised by the Chinese Table Tennis Association. Asia has won the competition nine times, compared to Europe's three wins. The European team's first two wins came in Turkey and France, and in 2015 they earned their first competition win on Asian soil, with victory in Zhangjiagang. Logo Euro Asia Cup

Cheung Yuk
Cheung Yuk (; born October 28, 1981, in Jiangsu, People's Republic of China) is a Hong Kong table tennis player. As of February 2013, Cheung was ranked no. 80 in the world by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). Cheung is also left-handed, and uses the offensive, shakehand grip. Table tennis career Representing his adopted nation Hong Kong, Cheung made his official debut at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, where he competed in both the singles and doubles tournament. For his first event, the men's doubles, Cheung and his partner Leung Chu Yan won the preliminary pool round against Greece's Kalinikos Kreanga and Ntaniel Tsiokas, and Australia's Simon Gerada and Mark Smythe, attaining two victories, four games, and a total score of 98 points. Hyun Jung-hwa
Hyun Jung-hwa (; born October 6, 1969 in Busan, South Korea) is a retired table tennis player from South Korea who competed in the 1988 Summer Olympics, and in the 1992 Summer Olympics. Career National South Korean table tennis player Hyun Jung-Hwa brought about the golden age of table tennis to Korea. She is one of an elite group of players who have won at least one gold medal in every discipline they were eligible to compete in at the World Table Tennis Championships. Her first gold medal came in the women's doubles (partnering Yang Young-Ja) at the 1987 World Table Tennis Championships in New Delhi. She followed it up by winning the mixed doubles title with Yoo Nam-Kyu at the 1989 World Table Tennis Championships in Dortmund. Chen Jing (; born 20 September 1968 in Wuhan, Hubei) is a retired table tennis player and Olympic champion for China, and later Olympic medalist for Chinese Taipei. Early life Chen Jing was born on September 20, 1968 in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Yang Young-Ja (; born July 6, 1964) is a retired female table tennis player from South Korea. Table tennis career She won gold medals in women's doubles at the 1987 ITTF World Championships and the 1988 Summer Olympics, together with Hyun Jung-Hwa. Li Huifen (; born October 14, 1963) is a Chinese table tennis player. She won a silver medal in the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games in women's singles. She also won two English Open titles. In her 15-year athletic career, she won a total of 37 gold medals, 16 silver and 16 bronze. She is now the Hong Kong women's table tennis team coach. Bettine Vriesekoop
Hubertina Petronella Maria "Bettine" Vriesekoop (born 13 August 1961) is a former table tennis player from the Netherlands. She was European champion in 1982 and 1992 individually and in 1982 in mixed doubles. She competed at the 1988, 1992 and 1996 Olympics in singles and women doubles with the best achievement of sevenths place in both events in 1988. Vriesekoop started playing table tennis in 1972, and between 1977 and 2002 played at top level in Europe. She won the European Championship twice and was a Dutch Champion fourteen times in the singles and sixteen times in the doubles.
