Eugene German
Eugene German (born December 2, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for the Fujian Sturgeons of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He played college basketball for the Northern Illinois Huskies men's basketball, Northern Illinois Huskies and left as the program's all-time leading scorer and a conference champion. High school career German grew up in crime-ridden Gary, Indiana and played basketball from an early age under his father's guidance. At age 10, he was noticed by an Amateur Athletic Union coach at a church camp tournament and began playing around the state and country. German started high school at Andrean High School in Merrillville, Indiana but moved to Theodore Roosevelt College and Career Academy, Theodore Roosevelt High School in Gary, Indiana before playing a basketball game for Andrean. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. ''The Times of Northwest Indiana'' (NWI) is a daily newspaper headquartered in Munster, Indiana. It is the second-largest newspaper in Indiana, behind only ''The Indianapolis Star''. History The paper was founded on June 18, 1906, as ''The Lake County Times''. Its founder, Simon McHie, was a native of a small town along the Niagara River in Canada. In 1933, the name was changed to ''The Hammond Times'', and it became an afternoon paper serving Hammond, Whiting, and East Chicago. In May 1962, the McHie family sold the publication to Robert S. Howard of Howard Publications. The paper expanded to all of northwest Indiana in 1967 and dropped Hammond from its masthead to become simply ''The Times''. Milwaukee Panthers Women's Basketball
The Milwaukee Panthers women's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Horizon League for the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. The current head coach is Kyle Rechlicz replacing longtime head coach Sandy Botham in 2012. The Panthers have also won two conference titles in 2001 and 2006 with that they have won two conference tournament titles in 2001 and 2006. Track and field is a sport that includes athletic contests based on running, jumping, and throwing skills. The Basketball Super League ( tr, Basketbol Süper Ligi; BSL), also known as the Türkiye Sigorta Basketbol Süper Ligi for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's professional basketball division of the Turkish basketball league system. Miami RedHawks Men's Basketball
The Miami RedHawks men's basketball team — known as the Miami Redskins until 1997 — is the intercollegiate men's basketball program representing Miami University. The school competes in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The RedHawks play home basketball games at Millett Hall in Oxford, Ohio on the university campus. The Green Bay Phoenix men's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Horizon League for the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. The ''Post-Tribune'' of Northwest Indiana (formerly the ''Gary Post-Tribune'') is a daily newspaper headquartered in Crown Point, Indiana, Merrillville, Indiana, United States.
