Ethan Hemer
Ethan Hemer (born March 30, 1991) is a former American football defensive end. He played college football at Wisconsin. Hemer was undrafted in the 2014 NFL draft and signed as a free agent on May 10, 2014. Early life Hemer attended Medford Area Senior High School in Medford, Wisconsin, where he was First-team All-State (WFCA, Wisconsin Preps) as a Senior, Second-team All-State selection by the Associated Press, First-team All-Region, All-Area, All-Conference, Conference Defensive Player of the Year and Team Captain. He was a letterman in football, hockey, and track. As a senior, he qualified for state in the Discus throw. His high school career totals of 146 tackles, 47 TFLs and 11 QB sacks. Defensive End
Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. History Early formations, with six- and seven-man line defense, seven-man lines, used the end as a containment player, whose job was first to prevent an "end run" around his position, then secondarily to force plays inside. The 2014 Pittsburgh Steelers season was the franchise's 82nd season as a professional sports franchise and as a member of the National Football League. It also marked the 15th season under leadership of general manager Kevin Colbert and the eighth under head coach Mike Tomlin. The Arizona Cardinals are a professional American football team based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Nick Williams (born February 21, 1990) is an American football defensive tackle for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft after his college football career at Samford. He also played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears, and Detroit Lions. Medford, Wisconsin
Medford is a city in Taylor County, in north-central Wisconsin, United States. The population was 4,349 at the 2020 census. The city is located mostly within the boundaries of the Town of Medford. It is the county seat of Taylor County. History Medford is located on historic Ojibwe forest land acquired by the United States in the 1837 Treaty of St. Peters. In 1864, the federal government authorized a grant of some of this land to subsidize railway construction through the area. The Wisconsin Central Railroad Company, controlled by Boston financier Gardner Colby, obtained the land grant and constructed the railroad in the 1870s. The railroad company and a local lumber milling company laid out the city of Medford in 1875 and sold lots for twenty-five dollars each.
