Estonian Footballer Of The Year
The Estonian Footballer of the Year ( et, Eesti aasta parim jalgpallur) is an annual award given to the best performing Estonian footballer of the respective year. The award has been presented since 1992. From 1992 to 1994, the winner was chosen by '' Päevaleht'', from 1995 to 2000 by ''Eesti Päevaleht'', and from 2002 to 2003 by Estonian football journalists (EJAK). The Estonian Football Association (EJL) also named their player of the year from 1994 to 2003. Since 2004, the winner is chosen by representatives of the Estonian Football Association and football journalists. Ragnar Klavan has won the award a record seven times. The current holder is Joonas Tamm. Indrek Zelinski (born 13 November 1974) is an Estonian football coach and former professional player. Zelinski played as a forward for Sindi Kalju, Tervis Pärnu, Pärnu Kalev, Flora, Lelle, Kuressaare, Lahti, AaB Fodbold, AaB, Landskrona BoIS, Boldklubben Frem, Frem and FC Levadia Tallinn, Levadia. Rauno Sappinen
Rauno Sappinen (born 23 January 1996) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ekstraklasa side Stal Mielec, on loan from Piast Gliwice, and the Estonia national team. Club career Flora Sappinen came through the youth system at Flora and made his debut in the Meistriliiga on 2 March 2013, in a 4–1 home win over Tallinna Kalev. He won his first Meistriliiga title in the 2015 season. Sappinen's performances in 2015 also saw him voted Estonian Young Footballer of the Year.
