Esterlyn (band)
Esterlyn is a Christian worship band from Boise, Idaho performing throughout the United States as well as globally. Esterlyn released their debut national album in 2010 through VSR/EMI before selling over 25,000 units independently. In 2011, the song "Freedom is Here" was listed as a top 10 radio single on Air1 radio. The band is known for their focus on Christian ministry and for writing worship songs played in many churches. The band also play at Christian conferences and camps throughout the year and lead worship through song at Calvary Chapel in Boise, Idaho. They have gained significant fans throughout the country through touring and playing with Kutless, Acquire The Fire, festivals, and Worship Conferences. Air1 is an American Christian radio network. Owned by the Educational Media Foundation (EMF), it primarily broadcasts contemporary worship music, and is a sister to the EMF's K-Love network. History In 1986, KLRD began broadcasting Christian Hit/Rock music from Yucaipa, California, and went by the on-air moniker K-LORD. In 1994, KXRD was started as a sister station to KLRD. Kutless
Kutless is an American Christian rock band from Portland, Oregon formed in 1999. Since their formation, they have released multiple studio albums and one live album, ''Live from Portland''. They have sold over 3 million records worldwide. History Earlier years (1999–2000) The band was formed in Portland, Oregon, as a campus worship band named "Call Box". They performed during the 1999–2000 school year at Warner Pacific College. Their first guitarist, Andrew Morrison, decided to leave the band shortly before they signed with BEC records. James Mead replaced Andrew at lead guitar. The Band changed their name to "Kutless" in October 2001, before releasing their first three-track EP followed up by their full-length album in 2002 on BEC Recordings.
