Esteban Andrés Solari Poggio (; born 2 June 1980) is an Argentine former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football)#Striker, striker, currently Manager (association football), manager of Malaysia Super League club Johor Darul Ta'zim F.C., Johor Darul Ta'zim. Playing career Solari was born in Rosario, Santa Fe. After emerging through Club Atlético Vélez Sarsfield's youth ranks, he made his professional debut with Estudiantes de La Plata. He also represented in his country Defensa y Justicia, Argentinos Juniors and Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy. After one year in Italy with amateurs Clodiense S.S.D., A.C. All teams played against each other twice, once at their home and once away. The team with the most points at the end of the season crowned champions. The last three teams were relegated to the 2007–08 Cypriot Second Division. The champions ensured their participation in the 2007–08 UEFA Champions League and the runners-up in the 2007–08 UEFA Cup. The Cypriot First Division ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Α΄ Κατηγορίας) is the top tier football league competition in Cyprus, run by the Cyprus Football Association. Since February 2016, it is sponsored by Cyta and is thus officially known as the Cyta Championship. The league is contested by 14 teams and runs from August to May, with the three lowest-placed teams being relegated to the Cypriot Second Division, and replaced by the top three teams in that division. The 2004-05 season of the Belgian First Division began on August 6, 2004 and ended on May 23, 2005. Club Brugge became champions on May 15, 2005 after a decisive game against long-time rivals Anderlecht.
