Estadio Municipal de Altamira (Basque: ''Altamira estadioa'') is a sports stadium used for track and field, association football and rugby union, in Ordizia (Gipuzkoa). It is located in the district of Altamira. Facilities Built in 1972 and renovated in 2007, its playing surface is artificial grass and the covered grandstand has 500 seats. The athletics track is homologated for every official competition. Main tenants The stadium is used for the home matches of Ordizia RE since its foundation in 1973, although after playing in other nearby cities such as Hernani, Lazkao and Zarautz, and then at Estadio Fernando Trevijano since 1979, Ordizia returned to Altamira during its promotion to División de Honor de Rugby The División de Honor de Rugby is Spain's top level professional men's rugby union competition. Hernani is a town and municipality located in the province of Gipuzkoa, Basque Autonomous Community, Spain. The town sits on the left bank of the Urumea river. It is located at a distance of 9.2 km from San Sebastián. The División de Honor de Rugby is Spain's top level professional men's rugby union competition. The División de Honor de Rugby Championship is organised by the Federación Española de Rugby (Spanish Rugby Federation) and currently consists of 12 teams. The last-placed team in the competition is relegated at the end of the season to the División de Honor B, Spain`s second level of men's rugby union. The team finishing 11th enters a relegation/promotion playoff with the runner-up from the Division de Honor B playoffs.
