Espen Egil Hansen
Espen Egil Hansen (born 16 October 1965) is a Norwegian newspaper editor and publisher. Biography Hansen was born in Grimstad on 16 October 1965. He was assigned with the newspaper ''Verdens Gang'' from 1991 to 2013. In 2013 he was appointed editor-in-chief of the newspaper ''Aftenposten'', and from 2015 also CEO of the newspaper. He has been board member of the Association of Norwegian Editors, board member of the International News Media Association, and chairman of the board of the online business newspaper '' E24''. He was succeeded by Trine Eilertsen as chief editor of ''Aftenposten'' from January 2020. Grimstad
Grimstad () is a municipality in Agder county, Norway. It belongs to the geographical region of Sørlandet. The administrative center of the municipality is the town of Grimstad. Some of the villages in Grimstad include Eide, Espenes, Fevik, Fjære, Håbbestad, Hesnes, Homborsund, Jortveit, Kroken, Landvik, Nygrenda, Prestegårdskogen, Reddal, Roresand, Rønnes, Skiftenes, Tjore, Vik, and Østerhus. Hilde Haugsgjerd (born 7 July 1952) is a Norwegian newspaper editor. She was born in Oslo. She was the party leader of the Red Electoral Alliance from 1979 to 1981, and was married to the party's first leader Sigurd Allern from 1972 to 1977. Trine Eilertsen (born 1 May 1969) is a Norwegian journalist and newspaper editor. She is the current editor-in-chief of the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten. Early life and education Eilertsen was born in Bærum and grew up at Sotra. She graduated from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in 1996 and from the University of Bergen in 1997.
