Esmailin Manuel Caridad (born October 28, 1983) is a Dominican former professional right-handed pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Chicago Cubs, in Nippon Professional Baseball for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp and in the Korea Baseball Organization for the Samsung Lions. Hiroshima Toyo Carp He spent the majority of the 2007 season in the Hiroshima Toyo Carp's Carp Dominican Academy in the Dominican Republic. The Iowa Cubs are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. They are located in Des Moines, Iowa, and are named for their Major League Baseball (MLB) affiliate. The Cubs play their home games at Principal Park, which opened in 1992.
