Danish (; , ) is a North Germanic language spoken by about six million people, principally in and around Denmark. Eskil Kinneberg (born 17 May 1992) is a Norwegian orienteer. Career At the 2017 World Orienteering Championships in Tartu, Estonia, he placed fifth in the long distance, eighth in the middle distance, and won a gold medal in the relay (with Olav Lundanes and Magne Dæhli). He won a gold medal in the middle distance at the 2018 World Orienteering Championships in Latvia, ahead of Daniel Hubmann and Florian Howald. This was Kinneberg's first individual world championships medal. Eskil Suter (born 29 June 1967) is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer and current motorcycle chassis constructor from Switzerland. Motorcycle racing career Born in Turbenthal, Zürich, Switzerland, Suter finished in second place in the 1991 250cc International Lightweight class at the Daytona International Speedway. Eskil Pedersen (born 6 March 1984 in Skien) is a Norwegian politician and former leader from 2010 to 2014 of the Workers' Youth League (AUF), the youth organisation associated with Norway's leading Labour Party. Pedersen survived the massacre on the Workers' Youth League summer camp at Utøya on 22 July 2011. Many have accused Pedersen of treason due to him commanding the Utøya ferry to leave without other victims. Eskil Magnusson (c. 1175 – c. 1227) was a nobleman and lawspeaker (''Lagman'') of Västergötland. He is the first attested legal official in what is now Sweden about whom we have any extensive information. Biography He was a member of the Bjelbo dynasty or House of Folkung (''Folkungaätten'') which in the 1250s became Sweden's royal dynasty. He was the son of Magnus Minniskiöld, and the elder half-brother of Birger Jarl (''Birger Magnusson''), the most powerful man of Sweden in the middle of the 13th century. Eskild Jensen
Eskild Jensen (28 April 1925 – 1 April 2013) is a Norwegian civil servant and politician for the Labour Party. He was born in Vestre Aker as a son of executive Eskild Jensen Sr. (1876–1955) and teacher Elizabeth Kobro (1889–1985). In 1957 he married civil servant Inger Aarskog. He enrolled at Oslo Commerce School, but as the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany commenced in the same year, Jensen soon prioritized to work in the Norwegian resistance movement. He distributed an illegal newspaper compiled from BBC radio reports; listening to these was also illegal. He was caught by Gestapo in 1942, tortured, and imprisoned in the concentration camps Grini and from May 1943 to 1945 Sachsenhausen.
