Dion Esajas
Dion Esajas (born 7 November 1980 in Amsterdam, Netherlands) is a professional football forward who plays for Dutch amateur side EDO. Club career He started his professional career with HFC Haarlem in 1997, making his debut on 14 March 1998 in a 3–3 draw against Excelsior. He later moved to FC Volendam, where he played his only season in the Eredivisie, which was 2003–04. He later played for FC Zwolle and in 2006 moved to Germany, where he had a disappointing spell with SC Paderborn 07 and then returned to Netherlands to play with Quick Boys. After a season in Holland, he moved abroad to play in Cyprus for several years when he signed for Akritas Chlorakas. He also played for PAEEK, AEK Kouklia, Karmiotissa, ENAD Polis Chrysochous and Anagennisi Dherynia before returning to Holland. Etiënne Esajas
Etiënne Esajas (born 4 November 1984) is a Dutch footballer who is currently a free agent. He formerly played for Sheffield Wednesday and Vitesse Arnhem. Esajas is a winger who was born in Amsterdam and made his debut in professional football, being part of the Vitesse Arnhem squad in the 2005–06 season. Club career Sheffield Wednesday Esajas signed a three-year deal at Hillsborough and wore squad number 11. He was signed as a replacement for Chris Brunt who left at the beginning of August 2007 in a £3.5 million move to West Bromwich Albion. He made his Owls debut as a 55th-minute substitute for Burton O'Brien in the 1–0 defeat to Bristol City. He performed well on his debut and almost scored an equaliser in the 88th minute but had his free kick saved by Adriano Basso. Harvey Esajas
Harvey Delano Esajas (born 13 June 1974) is a Dutch former footballer who played as a defender. Club career Feyenoord and Eerste Divisie Born in Amsterdam of Surinamese descent, Esajas made his debut in professional football in 1993–94 with Feyenoord, after spending his youth years in the football schools of R.S.C. Anderlecht and AFC Ajax. Prior to the start of the season, he was the key factor in the ''Helderse affaire'': Feyenoord played a friendly match with an amateur side, the ''Helderse Selectie'', and during the game he knocked down opponent Ronald Schouten, breaking his jaw but not being eventually suspended for his actions. Malcolm Esajas (born 13 July 1986) is a Dutch footballer who plays for JOS Watergraafsmeer in the Derde Divisie. Club career Esajas formerly played for MVV Maastricht and ADO Den Haag, who loaned him to RKC Waalwijk RKC Waalwijk () is a Dutch professional football club based in Waalwijk, that is currently competing in the Eredivisie. Its name is derived from 'Rooms Katholieke Combinatie' ('Roman Catholic Combination' in Dutch) and was established as a merger ... in the 2014-15 season. He joined FC Den Bosch in summer 2015, only to be deemed surplus to requirements a year later. Wim Esajas
Siegfried Willem "Wim" Esajas (16 April 1935 – 30 April 2005) was a middle-distance runner from Suriname, who qualified for the Athletics at the Men's 800 m event at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome, Italy and was supposed to be the first Surinamese Olympian. Esajas missed the event, and it was alleged that he overslept it, whereas he was simply given a wrong starting time by Fred Glans, the head of Suriname's Olympic delegation. Esajas was a multiple national record holder in the 800 m, 1500 m and 3000 m events in the 1950s, and was selected as the Surinamese Sportman of the Year in 1956.
