"Es Mi Mujer" (''"It's My Woman"'') is a song written by Luis Gómez Escolar and K. C. Porter, produced by Juan Carlos Calderón and performed by Mexican singer Emmanuel. It was released as the second single from his studio album '' Desnudo'' (1986) in early 1987. This song became the second number-one hit by the singer at the ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Tracks chart, after the three weeks reign of his single " Toda La Vida" in 1986. Emmanuel (born Jesús Emmanuel Arturo Acha Martinez, April 16, 1955, in Mexico City) is a Mexican singer who debuted in the 1970s. Life He is the son of the Argentinian-born bullfighter Raúl Acha, "Rovira", who appeared numerous times in the Plaza de Acho in Lima, Peru. Emmanuel grew up in Chosica, a town about an hour from Lima, and attended Chosica's most prestigious boarding school, the Colegio Santa Rosa, of the Augustinian priests. His mother was Spanish singer Conchita Martínez. Emmanuel's songs are usually ballads, which became popular during the 1980s. Braulio Antonio García Bautista (; born 1946 in Santa María de Guía de Gran Canaria, Canary Islands), better known as Braulio, is a Spanish singer-songwriter. He began his career in 1971, debuting in a local festival with a song called "Mi amigo el pastor".
