Errol Barnett (born 3 April 1983) is a United Kingdom, British-born American news anchor, anchor and national correspondent for CBS News based in New York City after covering the Trump administration for three years while based in Washington D.C. Barnett also anchored ''CNN Newsroom'' during overnight hours in the U.S. and hosted CNN International's cultural affairs program ''Inside Africa''. During his two years at the helm of the award-winning show Barnett reported from half the continent including Senegal, Morocco, Ethiopia, and Madagascar. Errol Stanley Sawyer (August 8, 1943 – December 24, 2020) was an American photographer who lived and worked the last twenty two years of his life in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Early life Sawyer was born in Miami, Florida, to parents Robert Earl Sawyer (1923–94) and Mamie Lucille Donaldson (1928–2009). His father was an African American playwright, actor, director and producer whose family emigrated from Nassau, Bahamas, to Miami. His mother, an African American-Cherokee Indian originally from Bainbridge, Georgia, was head of the Intensive Care Unit of the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in The Bronx, New York City, for 25 years. She had a passion for theatre. In 1950, Sawyer moved with his mother and sister Wanda from Miami to Harlem, New York City, and three years later to The Bronx. Errol is a town in Coös County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 298 at the 2020 census. It is located north of the White Mountains along Route 16 at its intersection of Route 26. It has a municipal airport with a single, unpaved runway ( airport code ERR). Errol is part of the Berlin, NH– VT micropolitan statistical area. History Errol was granted by Governor John Wentworth to Timothy Ruggles and others in 1774, the name taken from Scotland's James Hay, 15th Earl of Erroll. In 1789, proprietors of the Errol grant petitioned the General Court that towns between Conway and Errol be required to pay for "a good connecting road". The legislature approved the measure in 1781, mandating what is today Route 16. A winter trade route to Andover, Maine, was built in 1804, connecting Errol to Portland by what is now Route 26. Errol is a village in Perth and Kinross, Scotland about halfway between Dundee and Perth. It is one of the principal settlements of the Carse of Gowrie. It lies just north of the River Tay. The 2016 population of Errol was estimated to be 1,500 persons, compared to 1,070 in the 2001 Census. Errol village is in the Carse and Gowrie electoral ward of the Perthshire North Scottish parliamentary constituency and in the Tayside Health Board area. Errol is twinned with Mardié, a village on the Loire near Orléans in France.
