Erol Evcil
Erol Evcil (born 2 May 1966, Mudanya, Bursa Province), is a Turkish businessman convicted of money-laundering and ordering a murder. Coming from an olive-growing background, he became known as the "olive king", and founded Zeytinoglu Holding in the late 1980s. In the 1990s he employed many former high-ranking state officials, and won state privatization tenders. He was a millionaire by age 25, and top of the police "most wanted" list by age 30. At the height of his success he had three private planes (which he lent freely to politicians and public officials), and a famous singer (Gülben Ergen) as a girlfriend, and was one of the most famous people in Turkey. He went into hiding in 1998 after his business empire, much of it based on bank loans running into hundreds of millions of dollars obtained fraudulently, began to unravel. Mudanya
Mudanya (Mudania, el, τα Μουδανιά, ''ta Moudaniá'' l. (the site of ancient Apamea Myrlea) is a town and district of Bursa Province in the Marmara region of Turkey. It is located on the Gulf of Gemlik, part of the southern coast of the Sea of Marmara. As of 1911, it was connected with Bursa by the Mudanya–Bursa railway and a carriage road, and with Istanbul by steamers. Mudanya has only an open anchorage usable in calm weather. The town produces olive oil and there is a pier used by local fishing and cargo boats. Sadettin Tantan (born 1 January 1941) is the Turkish politician who is the founder and current leader of the Homeland Party (Turkish: ''Yurt Partisi'', YURT-P) since 2002. Türk Ticaret Bankası A.Ş (TTB, en, Turkish Trade Bank), also known as Türkbank, was founded in 1913 in Adapazarı by private investors as a regional bank under the name of ''Adapazarı İslam Ticaret Bankası''. Bursa Province
Bursa Province ( tr, ) is a province in Turkey along the Sea of Marmara coast in northwestern Anatolia. It borders Balıkesir to the west, Kütahya to the south, Bilecik and Sakarya to the east, Kocaeli to the northeast and Yalova to the north.
