Ernie McMillan
Ernest Charles McMillan (born February 21, 1938 in Chicago Heights, Illinois) is a retired offensive tackle who played 15 seasons in the National Football League for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers. He was selected to play in the Pro Bowl four times. McMillan attended the University of Illinois. He is the father of former Pro Bowl safety Erik McMillan, and uncle of Howard Richards, a former first-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 1981. Although their surnames have different spellings, Ernie's older brother Shellie McMillon was a college basketball standout for Bradley and played in the NBA. Chicago Heights is a city in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 27,480 at the 2020 census. In earlier years, Chicago Heights was nicknamed "The Crossroads of the Nation". Currently, it is nicknamed "The Heights". Geography Chicago Heights lies on the high land of the Tinley Moraine, with the higher and older Valparaiso Moraine lying just to the south of the city. According to the 2021 census gazetteer files, Chicago Heights has a total area of , of which (or 99.87%) is land and (or 0.13%) is water. Bradley Braves Men's Basketball
The Bradley Braves men's basketball team represents Bradley University, located in Peoria, Illinois, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. They compete as a member of the Missouri Valley Conference. The Braves are currently coached by Brian Wardle and play their home games at Carver Arena. Bradley has appeared in nine NCAA Tournaments, including two Final Fours and national championship games in 1950 and 1954. They last appeared in the NCAA tournament in 2019, and last reached the NCAA Sweet Sixteen in 2006.
