Ernesto Lazzatti
Ernesto Lazzatti (25 September 1915 - 30 December 1988) was an Argentina, Argentine Association football, football midfielder and sports journalist. As a player, he won 10 titles with Boca Juniors, the only Argentine team where he played. Lazzatti's position on the field was Midfielder#Central midfielder, central midfielder, being notable for his skills with the ball and elegant style of playing. In 503 official matches played, Lazzatti was never sent off. Nicknamed ''El Pibe de Oro (The Golden Kid)'', Lazzatti is considered one of Boca Juniors's greatest idols, having raised from the youth divisions with a long career in the club. Bahía Blanca (; English: White Bay) is a city in the southwest of the provinces of Argentina, province of Buenos Aires Province, Buenos Aires, Argentina, by the Atlantic Ocean, and is the seat of government of the Bahía Blanca Partido. Julio Elías Musimessi (9 July 1924 in Resistencia, Chaco – 4 September 1996 in Morón) was an Argentine football goalkeeper who played for Newell's Old Boys, Boca Juniors and the Argentina national team. Musimessi started his playing career in 1944 with Newell's Old Boys of Rosario, he played 183 times for the club before his transfer to Boca Juniors in 1953. In 1954 Boca won the league championship. Temperley is a district in Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina, located in the south of Lomas de Zamora Partido. History In 1854 the industrial and textile merchant George Temperley (born in 1823 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England) bought from the Marenco brothers 51 hectares between the present streets of Dorrego, Almirante Brown, Eva Perón and Lavalle, and built a country house there. On October 16, 1870, Temperley set aside land from his extensive property for the establishment of a community, and participated in the building of both the original Lomas de Zamora City Hall and the Temperley railway station, one of the largest in Greater Buenos Aires. Severino Varela Puente (14 September 1913 – 29 July 1995) was a Uruguayan footballer who played as a striker. With 15 goals, he is Uruguay's all-time top scorer at the Copa América. Career Varela started his playing career in 1932 with River Plate Montevideo. In 1935, he signed for Peñarol where he was part of the team that won four successive league titles between 1935 and 1938. Varela was part of Uruguay squad which won 1942 South American Championship, and remainis as third joint top scorer in the history of Copa América. In 1942, Varela joined Argentine side Boca Juniors for $32.800. Boca also transferred Emeal and Laferrara to Peñarol as part of the transaction.
