Ernest Hamy
Ernest-Théodore Hamy (22 June 1842, Boulogne-sur-Mer – 18 November 1908, Paris) was a French anthropologist and ethnologist. He studied medicine in Paris, earning his doctorate in 1868. Afterwards, he served as a ''préparateur'' under Paul Broca in the laboratory of anthropology at the Ecole pratique des hautes études. The Société de Géographie (; ), is the world's oldest geographical society. It was founded in 1821 as the first Geographic Society.
