Ermis Aradippou FC
Ermis Aradippou () is a Cypriot professional football club based in Aradippou, a settlement on the outskirts of the city of Larnaca. The club was formed in 1958, and currently plays in the Cypriot Second Division. Ermis' greatest success came in 2014, when they won the Super Cup. Ermis have a long-standing rivalry with their neighbouring club Omonia Aradippou. History Ermis spent most of its history in the Cypriot Second Division, first competing in the top flight in 1983, and appearing in two more editions of the competition during that decade. After being relegated in 2002, the club returned to division one for 2009–10, managing to stay afloat for the first time in its history, after finishing in ninth position. In the 2011–12 season the club was relegated to the second division after three successive seasons in the top flight. Ammochostos Stadium
Ammochostos Stadium ( el, Γήπεδο 'Αμμόχωστος') is a multi-purpose stadium in Larnaca, Cyprus. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the temporary home ground of the refugee team from the occupied city of Famagusta, Nea Salamis Famagusta. History The original home ground of Nea Salamina FC was GSE Stadium in Famagusta, but due to the Turkish occupation of the town since 1974 they cannot use it. After that, Nea Salamis FC moved, temporarily, to Larnaca and built their own stadium. The decision to build the stadium came in 1989. The December of the same year it started to be built. After many wages offered from Salamis fans in Cyprus and abroad, from Cyprus Sports Association and from many workers it was built in a short time. 1996–97 Cypriot Third Division
The 1996–97 Cypriot Third Division was the 26th season of the Cypriot third-level football league. Rotsidis Mammari won their 1st title. Format Fourteen teams participated in the 1996–97 Cypriot Third Division. All teams played against each other twice, once at their home and once away. The team with the most points at the end of the season crowned champions. The first three teams were promoted to the 1997–98 Cypriot Second Division and the last three teams were relegated to the 1997–98 Cypriot Fourth Division.
