Erkan Can
Erkan Can (born 1 November 1958) is a Turkish film and theatre actor, who has won the Golden Orange for Best Actor twice for his roles in '' On Board'' and '' Takva: A Man's Fear of God'', and the Asia Pacific Screen Award for Best Performance by an Actor for ''Takva: A Man's Fear of God''. Biography Erkan Can began acting in 1974 at the age of 16 with the local Bursa State Theater and took acting classes at the Industrial Vocational High School. From 1982 to 1984 he undertook his compulsory military service. In 1985 he entered the theatre department of the Istanbul State Conservatory and made his first screen appearance, alongside Kemal Sunal, in ''Davacı'' (1986) directed by Zeki Ökten before graduating in 1990. From 1991 to 1992 he performed with the Bakirkoy Municipal Theatre. He had his first major roles in the television series ''Mahallenin Muhtarlari'' (1992) and ''Yalancı'' (1993) for TRT. Bursa

Ümit Ünal
Ümit Ünal (born 14 April 1965 in Tire, İzmir), is a film director, screenwriter and author. He is the scriptwriter for eight Turkish feature films including ''Teyzem (My Aunt)'' (1986), ''Hayallerim, Askim ve Sen (My Dreams, My Love and You)'' (1987). His first feature film as a director is '' 9'' which won many awards in various film festivals and was the Official Turkish Entry for the 2003 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. He wrote and directed seven feature films including Istanbul Tales (Anlat İstanbul), Ara, Gölgesizler (Shadowless), Ses (The Voice) and Nar (The Pomegranate). He has published four books. ''Offside'' ( tr, Dar Alanda Kısa Paslaşmalar) is a 2000 Turkish comedy-drama film, written and directed by Serdar Akar, about a local amateur football that hopes to win the league championship. Rekin Teksoy
Rekin Teksoy (1928 – May 30, 2012) was a Turkish lawyer, author and translator. Career Teksoy taught courses in Istanbul University’s Communications Faculty on ''Art of Cinema'' and ''Cinema and Literature Relations'' for over twenty years. He served on the executive board of ''Turkish Cinematech Association''. He also published articles of film criticism in the 1960s and later became one of the founding members of ''Turkish Foundation of Cinema and Audiovisual Culture'' (TURSAK). In 1994, Teksoy began to prepare and present the weekly cinema and literature program for Turkish Radio and Television 2 ( TRT 2); the shows continued for 601 weeks. He was the chief editor of ''Arkin Cinema Encyclopedia'' and other publications. His play, "Rosa Luxemburg", was staged for two seasons at Ayna Theater - Dilek Turker in Istanbul’s Kucuk Sahne. Fatih Akin (Turkish: Fatih Akın, born 25 August 1973) is a German film director, screenwriter and producer of Turkish descent. He has won numerous awards for his films, including the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival for his film '' Head-On'' (2004), Best Screenplay at the Cannes Film Festival for his film ''The Edge of Heaven'' (2007), and the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film for his film '' In the Fade'' (2017). Early life Akin was born in Hamburg to Turkish parents. He has one brother, Cem Akin, who works as an actor. He attended the University of Fine Arts of Hamburg to study visual communications and graduated in 2000. Akin has been married to German-Mexican actress Monique Obermüller since 2004.
