Erin Marsh
Erin Marsh (born July 12, 1999) is an American track and field athlete. She won the gold medal in the heptathlon at the 2023 Pan American Games. Early life Marsh attended Buford High School in Buford, Georgia where she competed in track, cross country, and cheerleading. She then attended Duke University. Her brother is Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Brandon Marsh . Career She finished third at the NCAA indoor championship pentathlon competition in 2021, behind Tyra Gittens and Anna Hall in Fayetteville in March 2021. In February 2023, she finished third in the pentathlon at the USA Indoor Championships, held at the Convention Center, Albuquerque. 2024 United States Olympic Trials (track And Field)
The 2024 United States Olympic trials for track and field will be staged at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. Organized by USA Track and Field, the ten-day competition will last from June 21 to 30 and will serve as the national championships in track and field for the United States. The marathon trials will be held on February 3, 2024, in Orlando, Florida. During the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, track and field events will be held between Thursday, August 1 and Sunday, August 11 with competition beginning each day at 4 am. ET. Brandon Marsh (baseball)
Brandon Chase Marsh (born December 18, 1997) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played in MLB for the Los Angeles Angels. Born in Buford, Georgia, Marsh was a multi-sport athlete at Buford High School, where he won a state championship title as a junior. The Angels selected him in the second round of the 2016 MLB Draft, but he missed the 2016 season with a back injury. After debuting with the Orem Owlz in 2017, Marsh progressed through the Angels' farm system, including a breakout turn with the Southern League in 2019. When the 2020 Minor League Baseball season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Marsh was invited to continue his development at an alternate training site. Anna Hall (born 23 March 2001) is an American athlete specializing in the combined events. She won the silver medal in the heptathlon at the 2023 World Championships and the bronze medal at the 2022 World Championships. Hall is the North American indoor record holder for the pentathlon. Her heptathlon and pentathlon best scores place her fifth and fourth on the respective world all-time lists. She is the only woman to break 6700 points in the heptathlon and run under 55 seconds in the 400 meters hurdles. Hall also has a 50.82 s personal best in the 400 meters.
