Erin Batth
Erin Batth (born October 22, 1978) is an American basketball coach who is currently the head coach for Providence. She played college basketball at Clemson. Playing career Batth played college basketball at Clemson where she was named a second-team Defensive All-American, and member of the ACC's All-Defensive Team as a junior and senior. During her senior year in 2000–01, she ranked second on the team in scoring with 12.1 points per game and led the team with 8.7 rebounds per game. Following the season she was named to the All-ACC Second Team, and ACC All-Defensive Team. She helped lead the Tigers to the ACC women's basketball tournament championship in 1999, and four-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, including the Sweet 16 in 1999. She finished her career with 972 points, 722 rebounds and 116 blocked shots. She was drafted in the fourth round, 59th overall, by the Cleveland Rockers in the 2001 WNBA draft. The NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament is a single-elimination tournament played each spring in the United States, currently featuring 68 Women's sports, women's college basketball teams from the NCAA Division I, Division I level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), to determine the national championship. The tournament was preceded by the AIAW women's basketball tournament, which was organized by the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) from 1972 to 1982. Basketball was one of 12 women's sports added to the NCAA championship program for the 1981–82 school year, as the NCAA engaged in battle with the AIAW for sole governance of women's collegiate sports. 2018 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament
The 2018 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament began on March 16, 2018, and concluded with the national championship game on Sunday, April 1. The Final Four was played at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. This is the third time that the women's Final Four was played in Ohio after previously being held in Cincinnati in 1997 and Cleveland in 2007 and the first time that the women's Final Four was played in Columbus. The 2018 Big South women's basketball tournament was the postseason women's basketball tournament for the Big South Conference that took place March 8–11, 2018, at the Vines Center in Lynchburg, Virginia. The first round will be broadcast on the Big South Network and Roku, with all remaining games streamed on ESPN3. Liberty, the winner of the Big South tournament earns an automatic bid to the NCAA women's tournament. Format All ten teams were eligible for the tournament. The Sacramento Monarchs were a basketball team based in Sacramento, California. They played in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) from 1997 until folding on November 20, 2009. They played their home games at ARCO Arena. The Greek women's Basketball League, also known as A1 Ethniki (A1 National) Women's Basketball is the most important competition of Greek women's professional basketball. It is organised by the EOK (Hellenic Basketball Federation). It began with the 1967–68 season. The Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) is an American professional basketball league. It is composed of twelve teams, all based in the United States.
